A Life of Outreach/Paying it Forward
Since childhood, Shanea has felt a profound connection to her spirituality. Raised in a faith-driven household, her grandmother was a devoted Methodist and Sunday school teacher for over 35 years, while her father was an active Baptist. Following in their footsteps, Shanea accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of eight and was baptized at twelve.
At fifteen, Shanea experienced a crisis of faith following the heartbreaking loss of both her grandmother and father. This period of grief and questioning led her away from the church, but over time, she came to understand that life’s challenges are instrumental in shaping who we become.
Her journey took many forms—graduating high school in 2008, navigating life’s complexities, and eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in business in 2024. Despite the twists and turns, one constant remained: her unwavering faith in Christ. Through every trial, Shanea believes God guided her through the darkness and helped her find her own light, reinforcing her belief that true transformation begins from within.
In January 2020, Shanea was introduced to the Universal Life Church. Her path to becoming an ordained minister began when her best friend asked her to officiate her wedding. Witnessing the pure love shared on that day sparked a calling within her. What began as a meaningful moment quickly grew into a mission, culminating in the creation of her own business offering ministerial services and spiritual guidance.
Today, Shanea passionately extends her services to others, openly sharing her story and encouraging individuals to embrace their own journeys. She finds deep fulfillment in making a positive impact within her community, helping others achieve their goals and bring their dreams to life.

A Message From Shanea:
A Minister for Me was officially established in 2021, though its inspiration dates back to 2019 when my best friend asked me to officiate her wedding instead of being her matron of honor. Honored by the request, I dedicated nearly a year to preparing for the big day. When the moment arrived in November 2020, it was an unforgettable experience—one that ignited a passion within me and planted the seed for my business.
A few months later, just before my 31st birthday in March 2021, I turned that inspiration into reality, and A Minister for Me was born. Now, years later, the journey has expanded beyond officiating weddings. I am proud to offer additional services, including financial advisement, protecting families and their financial futures we also provide private nail technician services, all rooted in my mission to uplift and support my community.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." His love reminds us that happiness is for all, and we have the power to shape our own destiny.
